The Tennessee Valley region is the second-most active automotive manufacturing region in the United States with over $8.2 billion invested in the seven-state area. Home to five OEM facilities including General Motors, Nissan, Toyota, Volkswagen, and the Mazda-Toyota joint venture in Huntsville, Alabama, the Valley provides endless opportunities for automotive suppliers including those in electric vehicle-related manufacturing.
Since 2018, electric vehicle (EV) battery manufacturing plants and EV battery and parts suppliers have chosen to locate in the Valley, taking advantage of our central location in the Southern Automotive Alley. These companies are primed for their own success, all while creating new opportunities for additional investors within the supply chain.
