The Appalachian Regional Commission is a federal-state partnership that works for sustainable community and economic development in Appalachia.

The Economic Development Administration, an agency in the U.S. Department of Commerce, makes investments in economically distressed communities to create jobs for American workers, promote innovation, and accelerate long-term sustainable economic growth.

USDA Rural Development administers and manages housing, business, and community infrastructure and facility programs through a national network of state and local offices.

Delta Regional Authority is a federal authority working with eight member states to serve the delta region by improving regional economic opportunity, creating jobs, building communities, and improving lives
