Engineered Plastics Components, Inc., a thermal plastics automotive supplier, announced plans to expand operations at the company’s Bessemer, AL facility. Plans for the project include creating 75 jobs and investing $8 million.  Economic Development partners include Bessemer Electric Service, The City of Bessemer, Birmingham Business Alliance and the Alabama Department of Commerce. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Firestone Building Products, a leading manufacturer of roofing and building solutions,  announced plans to expand operations in Nashville. Plans for the project include creating 28 new jobs and investing $13 million to support the company headquarters expansion. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

IMC Companies, the largest marine drayage company in the U.S., announced plans to expand its headquarters operations in Shelby County. Plans for the project include creating 150 new jobs and investing $23 million to support the company’s growth. Economic development partners include MLGW, City of Collierville, Memphis / Shelby County EDGE, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Harbor Steel & Supply Corp., a metals distributor and manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Plans for the project include adding 25 new jobs and investing $8 million to support growth and meet supply demands. Economic development partners include Warren RECC, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce and Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development. This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Special Aerospace Services, a tactical engineering company, plans to expand operations in Huntsville, Alabama. Plans for the project include adding 30 new jobs and a new engineering and production campus. Economic development partners include Huntsville Utilities, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber, City of Huntsville, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.    

Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc., a leading U.S. based firearms manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations and create hundreds of new jobs in Blount County, TN. Plans for the project include creating 750 jobs and investing $125 million in the company’s new headquarters, distribution, assembly and plastic injection molding operations. Economic development partners include City of Alcoa Utilities, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Tennessee Department of Transportation, Blount Partnership, East Tennessee Economic Development Agency, and the City of Alcoa.

Ford Motor Company, a leading American automotive manufacturer, along with SK Innovation announced plans to locate its new Electric Vehicle and battery plant in Stanton, Tennessee. Plans for the company’s largest, most advanced, most efficient auto production complex include creating nearly 6,000 jobs and investing $5.6 billion to build next-generation zero-emission vehicles on the nearly 6-square mile Memphis Regional Megasite. The project represents the largest investment in TVA Economic Development history and will be located on a TVA certified Megasite in west Tennessee. Economic development partners include Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Chickasaw Electric Cooperative, Southwest Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation, and HTL Advantage. This impactful project helps further TVA’s mission of service by helping improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Florim USA, Inc., a global leader in the ceramics industry, announced plans to expand operations at its Clarksville, Tennessee facility. Plans for the project include adding 30 new jobs and investing $35 million to increase production capabilities and offerings. Economic development partners include Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, Clarksville-Montgomery County Economic Development Council, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Load Covering Solutions Ltd., a producer and distributor of tarp systems for the commercial trucking industry, announced plans to establish operations in Cadiz, Kentucky. Plans for the project include creating 30 new jobs and investing $2 million it the Trigg County operations. Economic development partners include Pennyrile RECC, Southwestern Kentucky Economic Development Council, and the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development.

Kelvion Inc., global heat exchanger manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Knoxville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 74 new jobs and investing $3.8 million to increase production. Economic development partners include Knoxville Utilities Board, Knoxville Chamber, East Tennessee Economic Development Agency, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.
