Dr. Schneider Automotive Systems, a global automotive supplier specializing in high-quality automotive interior products, announced plans to establish operations in Lee County, Mississippi. Plans for the project include creating 400 jobs and investing $22.5 million in the Baldwyn facility. Virnig Manufacturing, Inc., a producer of skid steer attachments, announced plans to establish operations in Pikeville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 74 new jobs and investing $11 million as the company expands its operations to Bledsoe County. Economic development partners include Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative, Bledsoe County, City of Pikeville, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. SP-Teri, a figure skating boot manufacturer, announced plans to establish operations in Humphreys County. Plans for the project include creating 35 new jobs and investing $435,000 at the company’s new McEwen headquarters and manufacturing facility. Economic development partners include Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, and the Humphreys County Economic Development Council. Tyson Foods, a world-leading protein company, announced plans to establish operations in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Plans for the project include creating 450 jobs and investing $355 million, the largest attraction project in the history of Bowling Green and Warren County. Economic development partners include Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development and the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce. Voyant Beauty, a leading manufacturer of beauty and personal care products, announced plans to expand operations in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Plans for the project include adding 80 new jobs and investing $13 million to increase capacity and expand product lines. Economic development partners include Northcentral Electric Cooperative, DeSoto County Economic Development Council, DeSoto County officials and Mississippi Development Authority. Faurecia, an automotive components manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 170 new jobs and investing $18 million to expand operations and increase manufacturing capabilities to support production to several major OEMs. Economic development partners include Columbia Power & Water Systems, Maury Alliance, Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. Lodge Manufacturing Company, America’s oldest manufacturer of cast iron cookware, announced plans to expand its Marion County operations. Plans for this project include creating 239 jobs and investing $56 million to enhance production capabilities. Economic development partners include Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative, Marion County Government, City of South Pittsburg Government, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. Steam Logistics, a third-party logistics company, announced plans to expand operations in Chattanooga. Plans for the project include creating 400 new jobs and investing nearly $7 million to support the Chattanooga-based company’s growth. Economic development partners include EPB, Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Chattanooga, Hamilton County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. Tull Brothers Inc., an industry-leading manufacturer and distributor of sustainable building opening solutions, announced plans to expand operations in Corinth, Mississippi. Plans for the project include investing $2 million, renovating an existing building and creating more than 15 jobs to support the company’s growth. Economic development partners include Alcorn County Electric Power Association, The Alliance, Alcorn County and Mississippi Development Authority. Northrop Grumman, an aerospace defense and technology company, announced plans to expand operations, opening a new facility in Huntsville, Alabama, to support the US Air Force’s Ground Based Strategic Deterrent program. Plans for the project include creating 500 new jobs.  Economic development partners include Huntsville Utilities, City of Huntsville, Huntsville/Madison County Chamber, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.
