REI Co-op, the nation’s largest consumer co-op and specialty outdoor retailer, announced plans to establish operations in Lebanon, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 280 new jobs at the company’s new distribution center. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric, Joint Economic and Community Development Board of Wilson County, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

West Star Aviation, a full-service aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul company, announced plans to expand operations in Chattanooga, TN. Plans for the project include creating 100 jobs and investing $17 million in the Hamilton County facility to support growth. Economic development partners include EPB and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Sinova Global, a silicon metal producer, announced plans to establish operations in Lake County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 140 new jobs and investing $150 million in the new state-of-the-art silicon metal refining plant. The silicon metal produced at the Tiptonville plant will be used to manufacture silicone anode batteries, solar cells, semiconductors and aluminum and is named as a building block of the clean energy transformation. Economic development partners include Gibson Electric Membership Corporation, Reelfoot Area Chamber, City of Tiptonville, Lake County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. Nashville Box, LLC, a corrugated box manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations in Lebanon, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 48 new jobs  and investing $3.3 million to support growth and service businesses with high volume corrugated packaging needs. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric, Joint Economic and Community Development Board of Wilson County, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service by helping improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Anatolia Granite and Marble Corp, a natural stone, glass and metal manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Putnam County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 40 new jobs and investing $567,000 in the Baxter facility. Economic development partners include Upper Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, City of Baxter, Highlands Economic Partnership, Upper Cumberland Development District, Small Business Center and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service by helping create a better quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Bioventus, a global medical device manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Shelby County. Plans for the project include creating 40 new jobs and investing $9 million to meet growing customer demands and expand product portfolio at the Cordova facility. Economic development partners include Memphis Light Gas and Water, the Memphis Chamber, Memphis/Shelby County EDGE, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

VP Racing Fuels, a race fuel manufacturer and distributor, announced plans to expand operations in Carroll County. Plans for the project include investing $14.2  million and creating 150 new jobs across its existing facility and establishing a new location in Carroll County. Economic development partners include Carroll County Electric Department, City of McKenzie, Carroll County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

86 Pearson Lane, LLC, a startup heat exchange manufacturer, announced plans to establish operations in Lexington, Tennessee. Plans for the company’s first location include creating 150 jobs and investing $16 million in Henderson County. Economic development partners include Lexington Electric System, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, City of Lexington and Henderson County. This project further TVA’s mission to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Cerrowire, a leading U.S. manufacturer of cooper building wire, announced plans to establish a new metal clad cable manufacturing facility in Hartselle, Alabama.  Plans for the project include creating 130 new jobs and investing $100 million at the facility.  Economic development partners include Joe Wheeler EMC, Morgan County Economic Development Association, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.  This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Amazon, a global electronic commerce and cloud computing company, announced plans to establish an “XL” Non-Sortable facility designed to receive, store and package heavy or bulky items like home appliances in Huntsville, Alabama. Plans for the project include creating 250 new jobs at the facility, which will also utilize innovative Amazon technologies and energy efficient, zero-emission power industrialized truck equipment.  Economic development partners include City of Athens Electric Department, Limestone County Economic Development Association, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber, City of Huntsville, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.  This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.
