Toyota Motor Manufacturing, a global automotive manufacturer, announced plans to invest $222 million in a new four-cylinder production line with the capacity to produce engines for both the combustion and hybrid electric powertrains at its Huntsville, Alabama, facility.  Economic Development partners include Huntsville Utilities, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber, City of Huntsville, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.  This impactful project helps further TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Envision AESC, a world leading battery technology company for Electric Vehicles, announced plans to establish operations in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Plans for the project include creating 2,000 new jobs and investing $2 billion in the new state-of-the-art gigafactory, producing battery cells and modules to power next generation Electric Vehicles. Economic development partners include Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Bowling Green and Warren County officials. Dot Foods, Inc., a food industry redistribution company, announced plans to establish operations in Manchester, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 170 new jobs and investing $50 million in its new Coffee County distribution center. Economic development partners include Duck River Electric Membership Corporation, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association, and the Industrial Board of Coffee County. Baxter International Inc., a provider of leading healthcare solutions, announced plans to establish operations in Marshall County, Mississippi. Plans for the project include creating 105 jobs and investing $11.6 million in the company’s distribution operations. Economic development partners include Northcentral Electric Cooperative, Mississippi Development Authority, Marshall County Industrial Development Authority and Marshall County.

Ultimate Linings, LLC, a global leader in protective coatings for the automotive industry, announced plans to establish operations in Wilson County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 50 new jobs and investing $31 million in the company’s chemical manufacturing facility. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric, the Joint Economic and Community Development Board of Wilson County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Permobil, Inc., a global leader in innovative assistive technology, announced plans to expand operations in Wilson County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include adding 70 new jobs and investing $15 million to the company’s North American Headquarters facility. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric, the Joint Economic and Community Development Board of Wilson County and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. GAN Corp, an engineering and technology company, announced plans to expand its operations in Huntsville, Alabama.  Plans for the project include creating 100 new jobs and investing $5 million in a new facility at the Cummings Research Park.  Economic development partners include Huntsville Utilities, City of Huntsville, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.  This project helps further TVAs mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

ATC Drivetrain, a leading independent global remanufacturer of automotive drivetrain and powertrain systems, announced plans to establish operations in Knoxville. Plans for the project include creating more than 200 new jobs and investing $8.3 million as the company implements new technologies and capabilities in the market. Economic development partners include Knoxville Utilities Board, Knoxville Chamber, East Tennessee Economic Development Agency and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Noble Supply and Logistics, a global supply and logistics provider, announced plans to locate operations in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Plans for the project include creating 25 new jobs and investing $4 million in the company’s distribution hub. Economic development partners include Northcentral Electric Cooperative, Mississippi Development Authority, DeSoto County Economic Development Council, City of Olive Branch, and DeSoto County. This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Ultra Safe Nuclear Corporation, a manufacturer of inherently safe nuclear fuels, announced plans to locate operations in Roane County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 31 new jobs and investing $13 million at the pilot facility which will specialize in manufacturing the company’s Fully Ceramic Microencapsulated nuclear fuel and refractory ceramic materials. Economic development partners include Oak Ridge Electric Department, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Roane Alliance, City of Oak Ridge, Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
