Altex Tube LLC, a steel tubing manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations in Columbus, Mississippi. Plans for the project include the creation of 58 new jobs and $110 million investment as the company locates on the Steel Dynamics campus in Lowndes County. Economic development partners include 4-County Electric Power Association, Golden Triangle Development Link and Mississippi Development Authority.

Columbia Industries, LLC, a heavy equipment manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations in Starkville, Mississippi. Plans for the project include creating 62 jobs and investing $9.5 million in the company’s operations. Economic development partners include Starkville Utilities, Golden Triangle Development Link, and Mississippi Development Authority. This project furthers TVA’s mission to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Toast, Inc., a digital platform for the restaurant industry, announced plans to establish operations in Davidson County. Plans for the company’s new configuration facility include creating more than 100 new jobs in the region. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Nashville Area Chamber, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Rockford Spring Company, a custom spring and wire manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations in Marshall County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 62 new jobs and investing $10 million as the company establishes manufacturing operations in Lewisburg. Economic development partners include Lewisburg Electric System, Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association, Marshall County Joint Economic and Community Development Board, City of Lewisburg and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

 

Meta (formerly known as Facebook) announced plans to expand its data center operations in Huntsville, AL and Gallatin, TN.  Plans for the projects include a combined investment of $950 million and an additional 200 jobs. The projects bring Meta’s total investment in the Valley to $2.5 billion and 400 jobs across both facilities. Economic development partners include Gallatin Department of Electricity, City of Gallatin, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Huntsville Utilities, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce, City of Huntsville, and Alabama Department of Commerce. Ariens Company, a global outdoor power equipment manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations in Lincoln County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 369 new jobs and investing $38 million to locate its new manufacturing and warehouse facility in Tennessee. Economic development partners include Fayetteville Public Utilities, Fayetteville-Lincoln County Industrial Development Board, Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Hollobus Technologies, Inc., manufacturer of electrical power distribution connectors, announced plans to locate operations in Murray, Kentucky, creating 150 new jobs and $2.25 million in capital investment. The investment will locate the company’s head office, primary manufacturing operation and an R&D facility. Economic development partners include Murray Electric Systems, Murray-Calloway County Economic Development Corporation, and the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development. This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Prisma Nashville, LLC, a marketing and logistics company, announced plans to expand operations in Davidson County. Plans for the project include creating more than 100 new jobs and investing $12 million to support the company’s growth. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Tri-City Extrusion, Inc., an aluminum extrusion producer, announced plans to expand operations in Sullivan County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 50 new jobs and investing $30 million to support customer demand and strengthen production at the company’s manufacturing operations. Economic development partners include Bristol Tennessee Essential Services, NETWORKS Sullivan Partnership, City of Bristol and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Steel Technologies, a leading aluminum and steel processors in North America, announced plans to expand operations in Decatur, AL. Plans for the project include an additional 50 new jobs and an investment of $19 million. Economic Development partners include Joe Wheeler Electric Membership Corporation, Morgan County Economic Development Association, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.  This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.
