May 13, 2019 – Hematite Inc., a Canadian automotive supplier, announced plans to establish a production facility in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include $11.5 million in capital investment and the creation of 70 new jobs at the company’s second U.S. facility. Economic development partners include Fayetteville Public Utilities, Fayetteville Lincoln County Industrial Development Board and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

May 1, 2019 – Western Express, Inc., an asset-based truckload carrier, announced plans to expand operations in Nashville, Tennessee. The company is headquartered in Nashville and plans for this project include the creation of 225 new jobs, and $88 million in investment. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

April 30, 2019 – Titan Medical, a medical device manufacturer, announced plans to establish operations in Lexington, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of 87 new jobs and $7.5 million in capital investment. Economic development partners include Lexington Electric System, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, the City of Lexington, Henderson County, and Lexington/Henderson County Industrial Development Board.

April 30, 2019 – McNeilus Steel, a steel processor and distributor, announced plans to locate a new production facility in Morristown, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of 70 new jobs and investing $18.8 million. Economic development partners include Morristown Utility Systems, Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

April 24, 2019 – Rocore Knoxville LLC, a leader in heat exchange products for heavy duty applications, announced plans to open a facility in Knoxville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include 50 new jobs, and $5.1 million in capital investment. Economic development partners include Knoxville Utilities Board and the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce.

April 23, 2019 – Clayton Supply, one of the nation’s largest homebuilders, announced plans to establish a facility in Westmoreland, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of nearly 110 jobs and $14 million in capital investment. Economic development partners include Tri-County Electric Membership Corporation, City of Westmoreland, Forward Sumner Economic Partnership and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

April 18, 2019 – GSI, an international manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, announced the relocation of its Farmer Automatic Production Line from Germany to Bremen, Alabama. Plans for the project include $5.7 million and the creation of 50 new jobs. Economic development partners include Cullman Economic Development Agency, Cullman Electric Cooperative, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

April 17, 2019 – Nucor Tubular Products announced plans to expand its Trinity, Alabama location with new production, finishing and packaging equipment. Plans for the expansion project include $27.2 million in capital investment, 35 new jobs, and an increase of 1.5 MW in electric demand. Economic development partners include the Alabama Department of Commerce, Lawrence County Industrial Development Board, and Joe Wheeler Electric Membership Corporation.

April 17, 2019 – Toyota Boshoku America, a global automotive supplier, announced plans to locate a new facility in Athens, Alabama. Plans for the project include investing nearly $50 million and the creation of 400 new jobs. Economic development partners include Athens Utilities Board, Limestone County Economic Development Association, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

March 21, 2019 – Bobrick Washroom Equipment, a producer of washroom accessories and equipment, announced plans to expand its Jackson, Tennessee facility. Plans for the project include investing $6 million and adding 25 new jobs. Economic development partners include Jackson Energy Authority, Jackson Chamber, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, City of Jackson and Madison County.
