ERMCO, Inc., one of the nation’s largest producers of oil-filled distribution transformers, announced plans to expand operations in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of 150 new jobs and $12 million in investment. Economic development partners include Dyersburg Electric System, Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce, City of Dyersburg, Dyer County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Nippon Paint USA Inc., a leading global paint and coatings manufacturer for the automotive industry, announced plans to establish operations in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Plans for the new location include creating 150 new jobs and investing $60 million in the facility. Economic development partners include EPB, Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Lightning Source LLC, an on-demand print and distribution service provider, announced plans to expand operations in Jackson, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating nearly 150 new jobs and investing $22 million in its print-manufacturing facility. Economic development partners include Jackson Energy Authority, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, City of Jackson and Madison County.

Lockheed Martin, an industry-leading, global aerospace and defense company, announced plans to expand its facilities in Courtland and Huntsville, Alabama.  The company will add two new buildings at Courtland for the assembly, integration and testing of hypersonics programs, while housing the management and engineering in Huntsville.  Plans for the project include the creation of approximately 72 jobs in Courtland and 200 jobs in Huntsville. Economic development partners include Courtland Electric Department, Huntsville Utilities, Lawrence County Industrial Development Board, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

VF Corporation, one of the world’s largest apparel companies for active and work wear brands, announced plans to expand operations in Lauderdale County, and locate a new facility in Tipton County, Tennessee. Plans for West Tennessee projects include $7.5 million investment in a new facility, and the creation of more than 220 jobs in the combined projects. Economic development partners include Covington Electric System, Ripley Power & Light, HTL Advantage, City of Ripley, City of Covington, Tipton and Lauderdale Counties and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Daikin America, Inc., an international fluorochemical supplier, announced plans to expand its Decatur, Alabama facility. Plans for the project include investing up to $195 million and the creation of approximately 50 new jobs. Economic development partners include Joe Wheeler EMC, Morgan County Economic Development Association, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

Bendix Spicer Foundation Brake LLC, a wheel-end foundation break producer, announced plans to expand its Bowling Green, Kentucky facility. Plans for the project include investing $65 million and creating 100 new jobs to meet product demand. Economic development partners include Warren RECC, Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce and Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development.

Sanoh America Inc., a leading automotive supplier, specializing in tubular products, announced plans to expand operations in Scottsboro, Alabama. Plans for the company’s seventh expansion project include investing $3 million and creating 30 new jobs to its existing 300 workforce. Economic development partners include Scottsboro Electric Power Board, Jackson County Economic Development Authority, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

Alpla Inc., a global leader in laundry and home care, announced plans to expand its Bowling Green, Kentucky operations. Plans for the project include the creation of 60 new jobs and $130 million in capital investment to enhance production. Economic development partners include Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development.

Vuteq, a global automotive supplier, announced plans to locate a new facility in Huntsville, Alabama. The company will provide the Mazda Toyota Manufacturing USA plant with interior and exterior plastic-injected parts and various sub-assemblies. Plans for the project include investing more than $60 million and the creation of approximately 200 new jobs. Economic development partners include Athens Utilities, Limestone County Economic Development Association, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.
