Plans for the project include adding 28 new jobs and investing $21.5 million in the facility. Economic development partners include Joe Wheeler Electric Membership Corporation, Lawrence County Industrial Development Board, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

AutoZone, the Memphis-based auto parts retailer, announced plans to expand operations in Memphis, Tennessee. Plans for the project include adding 130 new jobs to its 1,400 existing workforce and investing $191.2 million. Economic development partners include Memphis Light Gas and Water, Greater Memphis Chamber, Downtown Memphis Commission, Memphis-Shelby County EDGE, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. Arvin Sango, Inc., a global automotive products manufacturer, announced plans to expand in Chester County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating more than 150 new jobs. Hyosung Heavy Industries (HICO), a Korea-based electrical power equipment manufacturer, announced plans to locate its first US production facility in Memphis, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of 410 new jobs and $86.9 million in capital investment, and expected load growth of 2.1 MW, to increase the company’s global footprint. Economic development partners include Memphis Light Gas and Water, Greater Memphis Chamber, City of Memphis, Shelby County, Memphis Shelby County EDGE, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

TPG Plastics LLC, designer and manufacturer of engineered plastics and blow-molded products, announced plans to locate in Murray, Kentucky. The company will lease the Murray West Speculative building, creating 75 new jobs and $14 million in capital investment. Economic development partners include West Kentucky Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, Murray-Calloway County Economic Development Corporation and Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development. Amazon, a leading global web services provider, announced plans to locate in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Plans for the consumer goods fulfillment center include the creation of 500 new jobs at the DeSoto County facility. This announcement represents the company’s second fulfillment center in North Mississippi. Economic development partners include Northcentral Mississippi Electric Power Association, Desoto County and City of Olive Branch, DeSoto County Economic Development Council, and Mississippi Development Authority. Kimberly-Clark Corporation, a leading producer of personal care products, announced plans to expand operations in Corinth, Mississippi. Plans for the project include the creation of 25 new jobs and investing $20 million to support the growth of its product line. Economic development partners include Alcorn County Electric Power Association, The Alliance, City of Corinth and Alcorn County officials, and Mississippi Development Authority.

Mueller Water Products, a leading manufacturer of products used in the transmission, distribution and measurement of water in North America, announced plans to expand operations to Marion County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 325 new jobs at the facility. Economic Development partners include Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative, City of Kimball, Marion County, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Mersen, a global leader in advance materials, announced plans to locate in Columbia, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 100 new jobs and investing $65 million in the company’s operations. The company will be a direct serve customer of TVA, adding approximately 20 MW of new load. Economic development partners include Maury Alliance and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

New Way Trucks, one of the largest manufacturers of refuse and recycling equipment, announced plans to locate in Booneville, Mississippi. Plans for the project include the creation of 100 new jobs and investment of $2.5 million in the operation. Economic development partners include Prentiss County Electric Power Association, Prentiss County and City of Booneville officials, Prentiss County Development Association and Mississippi Development Authority.
