Genesco, a leading retailer and wholesaler of footwear, apparel and accessories, announced plans to expand the company’s Nashville headquarters operations. Plans for the project include adding 60 new jobs to the existing workforce of more than 750, and investing $31 million in the Davidson County facility. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. JCF Housements, a premier housing manufacturer, announced plans to locate in Fayetteville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 250 new jobs and investing $10 million. The company will operate in Fayetteville-Lincoln County’s newest speculative building, an 80,000 sq ft facility funded in part through TVA Economic Development’s InvestPrep program. Economic development partners include Fayetteville Public Utilities, Fayetteville-Lincoln County Industrial Development Board, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Tokai Carbon GE LLC, a manufacturer of graphite electrodes for the US steel industry, announced plans to expand operations in Hickman, Kentucky. Plans for the project include creating 15 new jobs and investing $25 million. Economic development partners include Gibson Electric Membership Corporation, Kentucky Cabinet of Economic Development and the Fulton-Hickman Counties Economic Development Partnership.

Amazon, a leading global electronic commerce and cloud computing company, announced plans to locate its newest, high-tech fulfillment center in Memphis, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of 1,000 new, quality jobs (*and $200 million in capital investment). This site will be the first in Tennessee to utilize innovative Amazon Robotics technology. Economic development partners include Memphis Light Gas and Water, Greater Memphis Chamber, City of Memphis, Shelby County, Memphis Shelby County EDGE, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. Ajinomoto Foods North America Inc., a leading manufacturer in the frozen food industry, announced plans to expand operations in Oakland,  Mississippi. Plans for the project include investing $27.3 million to increase capacity. Economic development partners include Tallahatchie Valley EPA, Mississippi Development Authority, Yalobusha County, City of Oakland, and Yalobusha Industrial Development Board. MINTH Group, a leading designer and manufacturer of structural body, trim and decorative parts for the automotive industry, announced plans to expand operations in Lewisburg, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of 250 new jobs, and the construction of an additional 230,000 square foot facility to support the company’s additional production. Economic development partners include Lewisburg Electric System, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, and Marshall County Joint Economic and Community Development Board. Adient, a leading automotive seating manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Henderson County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of 330 new jobs and $23.5 million in the Lexington facility. Economic development partners include Lexington Electric System, City of Lexington, Henderson County, Lexington-Henderson County Industrial Development Board, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. Adient, an automotive seating supplier, announced plans to expand production at its Lexington, Tennessee facility. Plans for the project include the creation of 200 new jobs and $10.8 million in capital investment.

Accenture, a global professional services company, specializing in consulting, technology and operations, announced plans to expand operations in Nashville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of 165 new jobs. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. Progressive Pipe Fabricators, a division of Shambaugh & Son, a custom fire protection, mechanical and electrical contractor, announced plans to locate a facility in Lawrence County, Alabama.  Plans for the project include adding 50 new jobs. Economic development partners include Joe Wheeler Electric Membership Corporation, Lawrence County Industrial Development Board, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.
