Plans to expand operations in North Mississippi include investing $22 million and creating 130 new job opportunities across the company’s Verona and Saltillo facilities. Economic development partners include Tombigbee Electric Power Association, Mississippi Development Authority, Community Development Foundation and Lee County officials. Tyson Foods, Inc., one of the world’s largest food companies, announced plans to expand operations in Union City, Tennessee. The company has invested $87.6 million, adding new production lines and square footage to the facility, and is expected to create 230 new jobs. Economic development partners include Union City Energy Authority, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Obion County and Union City.

PROJECTXYZ, Inc., a provider of research, design and solutions in manufacturing, engineering and logistics, announced plans to invest in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Plans for the acquisition of CBC INGS America, LLC, include the retention of more than 100 jobs at the plastic injection molding facility. Economic Development partners include Muscle Shoals Electric Board, Shoals Economic Development Authority and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

MAHLE, a leading international automotive supplier, announced plans to expand operations in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Plans for the project include adding 300 jobs and optimizing the company’s production footprint to be closer to automotive suppliers located in the Southeast. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, and Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce. Amazon, a leading global electronic commerce and cloud computing company, announced plans to locate a new, high-tech fulfillment center in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. Plans for the project include the creation of 1,000 new jobs and the utilization of Amazon’s Robotics technology. Aero Millwork, LLC, a stainless-steel food service equipment manufacturer, announced plans to locate to Savannah, Tennessee. Plans for the new operations include creating 62 new jobs and $890,000 in capital investment. GreenServ, Inc., a regulated medical waste and secure document destruction company, announced plans to locate its headquarters and operations in Batesville, Mississippi. Plans for the project include creating 45 jobs and investing $6 million. Agero, Inc., a leading provider of driver assistance services, announced plans to expand operations in Clarksville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include investing $2 million to expand the call center operations and creating 900 new jobs.
