Aphena Pharma Solutions, LLC, a leading pharmaceutical service provider specializing in packaging, announced plans to expand operations in Cookeville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 160 new jobs and $21 million in capital investment to accommodate future growth at the Cookeville-based company. General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems, a manufacturer of advanced technological components for the U.S. Department of Defense, announced plans to expand operations in Lee County, Mississippi. Plans for the project include creating 125 jobs and investing $39.5 million to increase the company’s high-tech manufacturing capabilities. Economic development partners include Tombigbee EPA, Mississippi Development Authority, Community Development Foundation, and Lee County officials. Master Manufacturing Group, custom tube and pipe fabricators, announced plans to locate in Dayton, Tennessee. Plans for the company’s new headquarters and manufacturing operations include creating 70 jobs and investing $4 million in the Rhea County facility. Economic development partners include City of Dayton Electric Department, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, and Rhea County Economic and Tourism Council. This project helps further TVA’s mission to create a better quality of life.

Southern Champion Tray, a paperboard packaging manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 120 new jobs and investing $85 million in its new facility to support new product lines, including tamper-evident packaging systems for restaurant and food delivery services. Economic development partners include EPB, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, and Hamilton County. CITE Armored, a manufacturer of armored cars, SWAT and supply vehicles for the military and domestic organizations, announced plans to expand its presence in Mississippi, locating new operations in Batesville. Plans for the project include the creation of 30 jobs and $2.3 million in capital investment to accommodate additional production. Economic development partners include Tallahatchie Valley Electric Power Association, Panola Partnership, Panola County officials and Mississippi Development Authority. This project helps further TVA’s mission to serve the people of the Valley by creating a better quality of life.

Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, the leading automotive manufacturing joint venture, announced plans to increase investment in its new Huntsville, Alabama facility by $830 million. This additional commitment brings the total investment to the state-of-the-art facility to $2.3 billion, providing for new cutting-edge technologies to its production lines and enhanced training to its workforce of 4,000 employees at the Huntsville facility. Economic development partners include City of Athens Electric Department, Alabama Department of Commerce, Limestone County and the Huntsville-Madison County Chamber. Facebook, a global technology company, announced plans to locate operations in Gallatin, Tennessee, creating 100 new jobs and investing $800 million in the company’s new state-of-the-art data center. Economic development partners include Gallatin Department of Electricity, the City of Gallatin, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, and many partners within TVA.  Facebook has partnered with TVA to bring 220 MW of new solar energy to the Valley to support the company’s plans for the Gallatin Data Center to become among the most advanced, energy efficient data center facilities in the world. Samuel Roll Form Group, a steel components manufacturer and supplier, announced plans to expand operations in Iuka, Mississippi. Plans to increase production at the facility include investing $6.9 million and creating 30 new jobs. Economic development partners include Tishomingo EPA, Mississippi Development Authority, Tishomingo officials and Tishomingo County Development Foundation. This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to provide a better quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Dollar General, a major retail company, announced plans to locate operations in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Plans for the company’s new cold storage and distribution center include investing $26 million and creating 65 new jobs at the approximately 160,000 square foot facility. Economic development partners include Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, and Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development. This project helps further TVA’s mission to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Engineered Medical Systems, LLC, a medical device manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Bartlett, Tennessee. Plans to increase manufacturing capacity at the Shelby County facility include creating 60 new jobs and investing $13.3 million. Economic development partners include Memphis Light Gas and Water, Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Bartlett, Shelby County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
