Material Bank, the world’s largest material marketplace in the architecture, design and construction industry, announced plans to locate operations in Olive Branch, Mississippi. Plans for the distribution center include creating 300 jobs and investing $14.5 million to support the company’s growth. Economic development partners include Northcentral Electric Cooperative, city of Olive Branch, DeSoto County, DeSoto County Economic Development Council and Mississippi Development Authority. This project helps further TVA’s mission to serve the people of the Valley by creating a better quality of life.

Teknor Apex, a global custom compound solutions provider, announced plans to expand operations in Brownsville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 20 new jobs and investing $7.4 million to increase the company’s scope of products being produced at the Haywood County facility. Economic development partners include Brownsville Energy Authority, HTL Advantage, Brownsville-Haywood County Industrial Development Board and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project helps further TVA’s mission to serve the people of the Valley to create a better quality of life.

GEDIA Automotive Group, a global advanced manufacturer for the automotive industry, announced plans to locate operations in Dalton, Georgia. Plans for the advanced manufacturing facility include creating 200 new jobs and $85 million in capital investment to produce components for electric vehicles. Economic development partners include North Georgia Electric Membership Corporation, Dalton-Whitfield County Joint Development Authority, Georgia Electric Membership Corporation, and the State of Georgia. This project helps further TVA’s mission to create a better quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Nippon Express, USA, a supply chain services, company announced plans to locate operations on the campus of Mazda-Toyota Manufacturing in Huntsville, Alabama.  Plans for the project include creating 101 new jobs and investing $19 million to construct a new facility.  Economic development partners include City of Athens Electric Department, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce, Limestone County EDA, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

Polyplex, USA, Inc., a manufacturer of thin polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film for a range of commercial and industrial applications, announced plans to expand its manufacturing facility in Decatur, Alabama.  Plans for the project include creating 120 new jobs and investing $103 million to expand their facility.  Economic development partners include Joe Wheeler EMC, Morgan County Economic Development Association, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

Moldex-Metric, Inc., a leading manufacturer of N95 respirators, announced plans to locate operations in Wilson County, Tennessee. Plans for the manufacturing operations include creating 200 new jobs and investing $25 million to meet market demand. Economic development partners include Middle Tennessee Electric, Joint Economic Development Board of Wilson County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project helps further TVA’s mission to provide a better quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Mission Forest Products, a producer of high-quality dimensional lumber products, announced plans to locate operations in Corinth, Mississippi. Plans for the state-of-the-art pine sawmill include $160 million capital investment and 130 new jobs with additional economic and employment opportunities for forest product firms in the region. Economic development partners include Alcorn County Electric Power, The Alliance, Mississippi Development Authority, Alcorn County and City of Corinth.

Torch Technologies, a technical services and solutions company, announced plans to expand operations in Huntsville, Alabama.  Plans for the project include creating 120 new jobs and investing $32.3 million to construct new lab, office, and manufacturing space.  Economic development partners include Huntsville Utilities, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.

SmileDirectClub, an oral care company and creator of the medtech platform for teeth straightening, announced plans to locate a new facility in Maury County, Tennessee. Plans for the new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility include investing $34 million and creating 600 new jobs to extend its manufacturing capabilities and support continued growth. Economic development partners include Columbia Power & Water, Maury Alliance, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Authority.

Homeland Vinyl, a manufacturer of vinyl profiles, including fencing, rail and deck products, announced plans to expand operations in Surgoinsville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 55 new jobs and investing $2.2 million to add multiple new extrusion lines and assembly line capabilities. Economic development partners include Holston Electric Cooperative, Hawkins County Industrial Development Board and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
