Hydro-Gear, a manufacturer of power equipment drive systems, announced plans to locate operations in Carroll County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 375 jobs and investing $10 million at the Huntingdon facility. Economic development partners include Carroll County Electric Department, Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, Carroll County Industrial Development Board, Carroll County, City of Huntingdon, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. Ascent Buildings, LLC, a full service, pre-engineered steel building manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations in Sumner County, Tennessee. Plans for the company’s headquarters and manufacturing operations include creating 120 jobs and investing $10 million at the Portland facility. Economic development partners include Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and the city of Portland. This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

 

Troy Industries, Inc., a small arms components and accessories manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations in Clarksville, Tennessee. Plans for the company’s headquarters and manufacturing operations include creating 75 jobs and investing $7.2 million. Economic development partners include Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, Clarksville-Montgomery County Economic Development Council, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project helps to further TVA’s mission of service by helping improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

 

Roadtec, Inc. a paving equipment manufacturer, announced plans to expand its headquarters and manufacturing operations in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 130 new jobs and investing $6.2 million to increase production. Economic development partners include EPB, Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, City of Chattanooga, Hamilton County, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project helps further TVA’s mission of service by helping to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

JC Ford Company, leading automated equipment manufacturer, announced plans to locate new operations in Columbia, Tennessee. Plans for the project include investing $30 million and creating 210 new jobs in Maury County. Economic development partner include Columbia Power & Water Systems, Maury Alliance, Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Lending Solutions, Inc., a provider of lending center services and financial consulting programs, announced plans to establish new operations in Knoxville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 265 jobs and investing $2 million in the call center operations. Economic development partners include Knoxville Utilities Board, Knoxville Chamber, City of Knoxville and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

 

Robinson Manufacturing, a clothing manufacturer and distributor, announced plans to expand operations in Rhea County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 91 new jobs and investing $15 million to support the company’s growth. Robinson Manufacturing has operated in Rhea County for 94 years. Economic development partners include City of Dayton Electric Department, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and Rhea Economic and Tourism Council. This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Milwaukee Tool, an industry-leading manufacturer of heavy-duty portable electric power tools and accessories,  announced plans to expand operations in Grenada County, Mississippi. Plans for the project include creating 800 new jobs and investing $60 million in the company’s new manufacturing facility. Economic development partners include Tallahatchie Valley EPA, Greater Grenada Partnership, Grenada County officials, and Mississippi Development Authority. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service by helping to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

 

Company Distilling, a bourbon-whiskey manufacturer, announced plans to establish operations in Blount County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 60 new jobs and investing $20 million in the two multi-use facilities in Townsend and Alcoa. Economic development partners include Alcoa Electric Department, City of Alcoa, the Blount Partnership and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.

Memphis Contract Packaging, a personal care product contract manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Fayette County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 261 new jobs and investing $48 million to construct a new facility and add product lines to support growth. Economic development partners include Chickasaw Electric Cooperative, Fayette County, and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
