Walgreen Company announced plans to establish operations in Memphis, Tennessee

Walgreen Company, a leading pharmaceutical and wellness products provider, announced plans to establish operations in Memphis, Tennessee. Plans for the company’s advanced fulfillment center include creating 200 jobs and investing $30 million. Economic development partners include Memphis Light, Gas and Water, City of Memphis, Shelby County, Greater Memphis Chamber and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project helps to further TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.
