VF Corporation to expand operations in Lauderdale County, locate new facility in Tipton County, Tennessee.

VF Corporation, one of the world’s largest apparel companies for active and work wear brands, announced plans to expand operations in Lauderdale County, and locate a new facility in Tipton County, Tennessee. Plans for West Tennessee projects include $7.5 million investment in a new facility, and the creation of more than 220 jobs in the combined projects. Economic development partners include Covington Electric System, Ripley Power & Light, HTL Advantage, City of Ripley, City of Covington, Tipton and Lauderdale Counties and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
