Valley Joist to expand, build new facility on TVA InvestPrep site

Valley Joist, a design, engineer and manufacturer of steel joist and deck products, announced plans to expand operations and build a new facility on a TVA InvestPrep site. Plans for the expansion project include adding 50 new jobs to the existing 150 workforce, investing approximately $8 million and adding 1MW of load. Economic development partners include the Fort Payne Improvement Authority, DeKalb County EDA, City of Fort Payne and the Alabama Department of Commerce.
