Solero Technologies, a leading global automotive supplier, announced plans to expand operations in Water Valley, Mississippi. Plans for the project include creating 86 new jobs and investing $14 million to upgrade and add new lines at the company’s Yalobusha County operations. Economic development partners include Water Valley Utilities Commission, the city of Water Valley, Yalobusha County Economic Development District, and Mississippi Development Authority. Marathon Cheese, a custom cheese packaging and transportation company, announced plans to expand operations in Booneville, Mississippi. Plans for the project include creating 39 new jobs and investing $326,000 as the company expands production at its Prentiss County location.
