Xxentria Technology Materials Co., a metal composite material manufacturer, announced plans to establish its first U.S. facility in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 85 new jobs and investing $45 million in its Maury County facility. Economic development partners include Mt. Pleasant Power System, Maury Alliance, Middle Tennessee Industrial Development Association, and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. Sparta Metal Processing, a metal remanufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Sparta, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating more than 50 new jobs and investing $12 million in the company’s White County headquarters operations. Economic development partners include Sparta Electric & Public Works, City of Sparta, White County and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development.
