DENSO, a global automotive supplier, announced plans to expand operations in Athens, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 200 new jobs and investing $100 million to increase the production of products that support cleaner mobility. Economic development partners include Athens Utilities Board, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and the McMinn County Economic Development Authority. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Avancez, an automotive supplier, announced plans to establish operations at Ford’s BlueOval City Supplier Park. Plans for the project include creating 500 new jobs and investing $54 million in the company’s Haywood County assembly operations. Economic development partners include Southwest Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation, the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Haywood County, and the City of Stanton. This impactful project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.
