Plans for the project include creating 86 new jobs and investing $14 million to upgrade and add new lines at the company’s Yalobusha County operations. Traxion Materials, a tire recycling company, announced plans to expand operations in Campbell County, Tennessee. The company plans to create 49 new jobs and invest $5 million to expand its Jacksboro recycling and upcycling operations. MAHLE GmbH, an automotive supplier of electric compressors, announced plans to expand operations in Hamblen County. Plans for the project include investing $10 million and creating 50 new jobs, which will bring the company’s total headcount to nearly 800 people at its Morristown facility. Economic development partners include Morristown Utility System, Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. Shape Corp., an automotive manufacturing supplier, announced plans to establish new operations in Huntsville, Alabama in addition to their existing Athens, Alabama location. The company plans to create 100 new jobs and invest $74 million in its Huntsville facility. Economic development partners include Limestone County Economic Development Association, Athens Utilities, State of Alabama Department of Commerce, Huntsville Madison County Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Huntsville. Toyota Motors Manufacturing announced plans to expand operations in Madison County, Alabama. The company plans to add 350 new jobs and invest $282 million with this latest expansion. Economic development partners include Huntsville Utilities, Madison County, City of Huntsville, Huntsville Madison Chamber of Commerce, and the Alabama Department of Commerce. Avancez, an automotive supplier, announced plans to establish operations at Ford’s BlueOval City Supplier Park. Plans for the project include creating 500 new jobs and investing $54 million in the company’s Haywood County assembly operations. Economic development partners include Southwest Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation, the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Haywood County, and the City of Stanton. Firestone Industrial Products, a subsidiary of Bridgestone Americas, announced plans to expand operations in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 40 new jobs and investing $8.9 million to expand manufacturing and distribution at its Firestone Airide facility.
