Kentucky Aluminum Processors, an aluminum recycling facility, plans to establish operations in Logan County, Kentucky. Plans for the project include the creation of 75 new jobs and $40 million in the company’s new Russellville facility. Economic development partners include the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, Pennyrile Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, and the Logan County Alliance for Development.
Cast Products, a legacy cast aluminum component manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Athens, Alabama retaining 200 jobs and adding 14 more. Plans for the $6.7 million expansion are to add a 30,000 square-foot facility and an automated state-of-the-art aluminum foundry. Economic development partners include Athens Utilities, the City of Athens, Limestone County Economic Development Association, and the Alabama Department of Commerce. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.
