ALUKO Group, an aluminum battery casing manufacturer, announced plans to establish operations in Madison County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 55 new jobs and investing more than $36 million in the company’s first U.S. manufacturing facility. The new facility will supply aluminum battery casings at Ford Motor Company’s BlueOval City. Economic development partners include Jackson Energy Authority, the Jackson Chamber, City of Jackson, Madison County and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. Kentucky Aluminum Processors, an aluminum recycling facility, plans to establish operations in Logan County, Kentucky. Plans for the project include the creation of 75 new jobs and $40 million in the company’s new Russellville facility. Economic development partners include the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, Pennyrile Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, and the Logan County Alliance for Development.

Cast Products, a legacy cast aluminum component manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Athens, Alabama retaining 200 jobs and adding 14 more. Plans for the $6.7 million expansion are to add a 30,000 square-foot facility and an automated state-of-the-art aluminum foundry. Economic development partners include Athens Utilities, the City of Athens, Limestone County Economic Development Association, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.
