Sungwoo Hitech America Corp announced plans to locate its first U.S. manufacturing operations in Washington County, Tennessee

Sungwoo Hitech America Corp, a global automotive supplier, announced plans to locate its first U.S. manufacturing operations in Washington County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 117 jobs and investing $40 million in the Telford facility. Economic development partners include BrightRidge, Northeast Tennessee Regional Economic Partnership, Town of Jonesborough, Washington County and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.
