Radiant Announces Plans to Establish Operations in Oak Ridge, Tennessee

Radiant, a nuclear generator company, announced plans to establish the company’s nuclear manufacturing and research and development operations in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 175 new jobs and investing $280 million that will support the development and mass production of the world’s first one-megawatt portable nuclear generator. Economic development partners include the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Roane County, City of Oak Ridge, City of Oak Ridge Electric Department, U.S. Department of Energy, and East Tennessee Development Agency. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.
