June 25, 2019 – Navistar, a global commercial truck and bus manufacturer, announced plans to expand its manufacturing facility in Huntsville, Alabama. Plans for the project include the creation of 145 new jobs and $125 million in capital investment. Economic development partners include Huntsville Utilities, Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, the Port of Huntsville and the Alabama Department of Commerce.
