Meta (formerly known as Facebook) announced plans to expand its data center operations in Huntsville, AL and Gallatin, TN.  Plans for the projects include a combined investment of $950 million and an additional 200 jobs. The projects bring Meta’s total investment in the Valley to $2.5 billion and 400 jobs across both facilities. Economic development partners include Gallatin Department of Electricity, City of Gallatin, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Huntsville Utilities, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce, City of Huntsville, and Alabama Department of Commerce. This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.
