Marathon Cheese, a custom cheese packaging and transportation company, announced plans to expand operations in Booneville, Mississippi. Plans for the project include creating 39 new jobs and investing $326,000 as the company expands production at its Prentiss County location. Economic development partners include Prentiss County Electric Power Association, Mississippi Development Authority, Prentiss County Development Association, and TVA. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley through job creation.
