Lockheed Martin expands facilities in Courtland and Huntsville, Alabama

Lockheed Martin, an industry-leading, global aerospace and defense company, announced plans to expand its facilities in Courtland and Huntsville, Alabama.  The company will add two new buildings at Courtland for the assembly, integration and testing of hypersonics programs, while housing the management and engineering in Huntsville.  Plans for the project include the creation of approximately 72 jobs in Courtland and 200 jobs in Huntsville. Economic development partners include Courtland Electric Department, Huntsville Utilities, Lawrence County Industrial Development Board, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber, and the Alabama Department of Commerce.
