JST, a global leader in design and manufacturing of electronic connectors, announced plans to expand operations in Guntersville, Alabama. Plans for the project include creating 80 jobs and investing $500 million in the company’s North Alabama operations. Economic development partners include North Alabama Electric Cooperative, Guntersville Industrial Development Board, City of Guntersville, Marshall County, and the Alabama Department of Commerce. Starbucks, a global coffee and consumer products company, announced plans to establish regional operations in Nashville, Tennessee. Plans for the company’s new Southeast corporate office include creating 2,000 new jobs and investing $100 million. Economic development partners include Nashville Electric Service, Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County, Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

DENSO, a global automotive supplier, announced plans to expand operations in Athens, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 200 new jobs and investing $100 million to increase the production of products that support cleaner mobility. Economic development partners include Athens Utilities Board, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and the McMinn County Economic Development Authority. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Reconext, a global aftermarket electronics company, announced plans to establish operations in Shelby County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 200 new jobs and investing $9 million to support the company’s client base across the Southeast. Economic development partners include Memphis Light, Gas and Water, the Greater Memphis Chamber, Memphis Shelby County EDGE, and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

The Anderson-DuBose Company, a distributor for the food service industry, announced plans to establish operations in Jefferson City, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 80 new jobs and investing $40 million in the company’s facility. Economic development partners include Appalachian Electric Cooperative, Jefferson County Alliance, City of Jefferson City, Jefferson County, Norfolk Southern Railway, and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Kentucky Aluminum Processors, an aluminum recycling facility, plans to establish operations in Logan County, Kentucky. Plans for the project include the creation of 75 new jobs and $40 million in the company’s new Russellville facility. Economic development partners include the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, Pennyrile Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation, and the Logan County Alliance for Development.

Builders Supply Co. Inc., a building materials and supply manufacturer, announced plans to expand operations in Dekalb County, Alabama. Plans for the project include investing $10.6 million in a new Fort Payne facility and creating an additional 10 jobs. Economic development and local power company partners include Fort Payne Improvement Authority, City of Fort Payne, Alabama Department of Commerce, and the Dekalb County Economic Development Authority. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Orano USA, a leading provider of materials and services to the US nuclear industry, announced plans to locate a state-of-the-art centrifuge uranium enrichment facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating more than 300 new jobs, with an historic capital investment towards furthering an ecosystem for the future of nuclear advancement in the region. This impactful project was made possible through a broad TVA effort and collaborative partnerships with the U.S. Department of Energy, Oak Ridge Electric Department, the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Roane Alliance, Roane County and the City of Oak Ridge, Oak Ridge Industrial Development Board, Anderson County, United Cleanup Oak Ridge, East Tennessee Economic Development Agency, and innovative companies like Orano.

Amazon, a global e-commerce company, announced plans to establish operations in Lee County, Mississippi. The company plans to locate its Last-Mile Facility in a new Saltillo facility supported by TVA InvestPrep. Economic Development partners include Tombigbee Electric Power Association, Community Development Foundation, and the Mississippi Development Authority. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Nashville Wire Products, a wire shelving, display and retail products producer, announced plans to expand operations in Humphreys County, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 102 new jobs and investing $20 million as the company establishes a new manufacturing site in McEwen, Tennessee. Economic development partners include Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative, Humphreys County Economic Development Council, Humphreys County and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.
