Centrus, the only uranium enrichment centrifuge manufacturing facility in the U.S., announced plans to expand operations in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 430 new jobs and investing more than $560 million to support large-scale restoration of uranium enrichment capability. Economic development partners include Oak Ridge Electric Department, the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, City of Oak Ridge, Anderson County, and East Tennessee Development Agency. Heil Trailer International, a global manufacturer of specialty transport trailers, announced plans to expand operations in Athens, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 18 new jobs and investing $9.8 million following the securement of a U.S. Department of the Army contract for the company’s Tactical Fuel Distribution System. Economic development partners include the Athens Utility Board, the McMinn Economic Development Authority and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

ALUKO Group, a South Korean aluminum manufacturer, announced plans to establish operations in Halls, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 285 new jobs and investing $108 million in the Lauderdale County manufacturing facility. Economic development partners include Ripley Power & Light, Lauderdale County Economic and Community Development, Lauderdale County, and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Laser Isotope Separation Technologies (LIS), a U.S. laser enrichment technology developer, announced plans to expand operations in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 203 new jobs and investing $1.3 billion, becoming the first U.S. origin commercial laser uranium enrichment plant in the world, supporting U.S. utilities, next-generation reactor developers, and national defense requirements. Economic development partners include the City of Oak Ridge Electric Department, U.S. Department of Energy, Roane County, City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, and the East Tennessee Development Agency. Korea Zinc, the world’s leading comprehensive nonferrous metal manufacturer, announced plans to establish the company’s first U.S. operations in Clarksville, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 420 new jobs and investing more than $6 billion in the company’s facilities, representing the largest single private corporate investment made in Tennessee history. Economic development partners include the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Clarksville-Montgomery County Industrial Development Board and Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation. This impactful project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

AKFA Aluminum Solutions, a full-cycle aluminum production company, announced plans to establish operations in Bowling Green. Plans for the project include creating 331 new jobs. This announcement marks the first Uzbekistani company to establish manufacturing operations in the U.S. Economic development partners include the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development and Warren RECC. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

T.RAD North America, a global radiator manufacturer, announced plans to establish operations in Montgomery County. Plans for the project include creating 930 new jobs and investing $90 million in the company’s Clarksville operations. Economic development partners include Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, and the Clarksville, Montgomery County Industrial Development Board. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Kroger, a leading U.S. grocer, announced plans to establish operations in Franklin, Kentucky. Plans for the project include creating 430 new jobs and investing $391 million in the company’s distribution center. Economic development partners include Warren RECC, Franklin-Simpson Industrial Authority, and the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.

Eli Lilly, a leading pharmaceutical company, announced plans to establish operations in Huntsville, Alabama. Plans for the advanced manufacturing facility include creating 450 new quality jobs and investing $6 billion, which represents the largest initial investment in the state’s history. Economic development partners include Alabama Department of Commerce, Athens Utilities, Huntsville-Madison County Chamber of Commerce, City of Huntsville, and Huntsville Utilities. Toyota, a global automotive manufacturer, announced plans to expand its U.S. manufacturing presence, including two locations within TVA’s footprint. Toyota announced plans to invest $125 million in the company’s Blue Springs, Mississippi facility and $71.4 million along with 33 new jobs at its casting plant in Jackson, Tennessee. Economic development partners include Mississippi Development Authority, New Albany Light Gas and Water, Three Rivers Planning & Development District, Community Development Foundation, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development, Jackson Energy Authority, the Jackson Chamber, city of Jackson and Madison County.
