Ascent Buildings, LLC announced plans to locate operations in Sumner County, Tennessee

Ascent Buildings, LLC, a full service, pre-engineered steel building manufacturer, announced plans to locate operations in Sumner County, Tennessee. Plans for the company’s headquarters and manufacturing operations include creating 120 jobs and investing $10 million at the Portland facility. Economic development partners include Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation, Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and the city of Portland. This project helps further TVA’s mission of service to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.
