February 14, 2019 – Arconic, a manufacturer of industrial and automotive product, and a direct serve customer of TVA, announced plans to expand its Alcoa, Tennessee operations. Plans for the project include adding 133 new jobs to the company’s 928 current employment, $100 million in investment and adding 10 MW of new load bringing the operation’s total load to approximately 40 MW. Economic development partners include Blount Partnership and the City of Alcoa.
