3M announced plans to expand operations in Clinton, Tennessee

3M, a leading global consumer goods producer, announced plans to expand operations in Clinton, Tennessee. Plans for the project include adding nearly 600 jobs and investing $470 million to expand two of its fast-growing product lines: Filtrete™ air filters and Command™ adhesive strips, allowing the company to respond to growing consumer demand. Economic development partners include Clinton Utilities Board, Anderson County Economic Development Association and Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project helps further TVA’s mission to improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.
