General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems plans to expand operations in Lee County, Mississippi

General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems, a manufacturer of advanced technological components for the U.S. Department of Defense, announced plans to expand operations in Lee County, Mississippi. Plans for the project include creating 125 jobs and investing $39.5 million to increase the company’s high-tech manufacturing capabilities. Economic development partners include Tombigbee EPA, Mississippi Development Authority, Community Development Foundation, and Lee County officials. This project helps furthers TVA’s mission of service to the people of the Valley.
