BWXT To Expand Operations in Erwin, Tennessee

BWXT, a nuclear energy company, announced plans to expand operations at its Nuclear Fuel Services, Inc. facility in Erwin, Tennessee. Plans for the project include creating 198 new jobs and investing $122 million in the company’s Unicoi County facility as it grows its capabilities in support of national defense needs. Economic development partners include Erwin Utilities, Unicoi County Economic Development Board and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development. This project furthers TVA’s mission of service to help improve the quality of life for the people of the Valley.
